    A message from the 23rd Annual Brea 8K Classic organizing committee:

      Traffic Alert -- The 23rd Annual Brea 8K Race will be held on Sunday February 23rd. Traffic will be impacted on the streets along the race route. The major streets involved are Birch Street, State College Blvd., North Associated Road, Lambert Road and North Kraemer Blvd.

        6:45 am – 9:00 am Birch Street (between State College and Poplar) and State College Boulevard (between Lambert and just south of Birch St. at Brea Mall Way) will be closed.

          7:30 am – 9:00 am This is the period of greatest traffic impact to the Country Hills and Park Paseo neighborhoods. Brea Police Department officers will direct traffic and control intersections and will allow limited access as the flow of racers permits.

            Please follow directions of police officers and course monitors. Please use caution when driving near the 8K set-up/take down crews, police officers, course monitors, volunteers and race participants.
