"Good Old Brea"

All eyes will be glued to tonight’s 2012 presidential debate between President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney, from 6:00 p.m. -7:30 p.m. PT.  Especially in this economy crisis, more people are placing importance in gathering as much information as possible about the candidates - in order to make an informed decision on voting at every level of government including our local city.  Together, we can make a difference, especially here in “Good Old Brea.”

BBON gave you information on the “softer side” of four of the five local candidates vying for two City Council seats: Incumbent, Marty Simonoff, and challengers, Steven Vargas, Christine Marick and Chris Parkin. We have yet to receive candidate Tory Stone’s Q& A.  Now you can meet the candidates. In just over two weeks you can attend our local Brea City Council Candidates Forum hosted by The Brea Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, October 11, in the Council Chambers, 1 Civic Center Circle Plaza level, from 6:00 p.m. -8:30 p.m.

If you are unable to attend the candidate forum, it will be broadcast live and replayed on government access channel 3 for Time Warner Cable and AT&T U-verse customers, and will be web-streamed live and replayed on demand at  For further details, please call the Brea Chamber of Commerce at (714) 529-4938.
