People:-Earlier this month one of Brea’s oldest Scout Troops, Kiwanis Chartered Troop 801 sent two different treks of Scouts to Philmont Scout Ranch in Northern New Mexico. Philmont is internationally known as one of the most recognized High Adventure Camps of its kind for the Boy Scouts of America. The Scouts hiked over 60 miles in 12 days, covering altitudes up to 12,000 ft.
