Brea Lions roaring with success: Brea Lions distributed proceeds from their 55th O.C. Prep All-Star Charity Football Game recently. Approximately $50,000 was brought in from the event (oldest in the state & 3rd oldest in nation) and distributed to Orange County Youth Foundation, Western Youth Services, Brea Olinda Unified School District Special Education, and the Brea Olinda Cheer squad. Additional proceeds were previously distributed to several high schools and youth groups who participated through the sale of tickets and/or ads. Game Chairman Bill McLeran made the presentations at the Brea Lions Club dinner meeting.
