In 2010, the Brea Olinda boys’ cross country team captured their first CIF Division 3 regional title and went on to a third-place finish in statewide competition. Led by Jeremy Mattern, winner of the OC Register/OCVarsity.com award for Coach of the Year, the team continues to make Brea proud, this year earning an ESPN ranking of 4th among boys’ cross country teams in California and 36th among teams nationwide. On Saturday, October 1st, 2011, Brea will host its Cross Country Invitational at beautiful Carbon Canyon Regional Park. Will BOHS run roughshod over the competition, fulfilling the hopes and expectations of their unflagging Brea supporters? Be there and find out!
