                    Joe Rollino

                      Occupation: Incumbent/Local Businessman

As 25 year Brea residents, parents of four children who attended BOUSD, my wife Corinne and I have a vested interest in our educational system. With your support I will continue to provide proven leadership to further promote exceptional educational opportunities for all Brea children.

Proven Leadership – Proven Results: As a 3 time School Board President, we were able to accomplish many great things. Below I have highlighted just a few of them. We have protected our children’s education during the state's continued economic crisis, while keeping our classrooms flourishing with the very best teachers and staff.

With an initial offer of approximately $17 million for the sale of Corporate Place, I guided the district to a final sale price of $25 million with a additional $1 million bonus paid before close of escrow.

After many years of discussion, negotiations, and creative design planning, we built a new state of the art Olinda Elementary School. Proceeds from the sale of the old school site will be used for other capital projects in the district.

We added a much needed classroom wing at Brea Olinda High School. This has allowed over 500 students each year to attend brand new labs and classroom's.

We have installed wireless infrastructure throughout our entire district, which allowed us to purchase Chromebook laptops for every school in the district.

We continue to achieve 99.6% graduation rate, and now have over 95% of our students passing their High School Exit Exam in 10th grade.

Under my leadership and as a board member of North Orange County ROP we have developed valuable career technical programs at the high school.

My experience has allowed me to maintain a balanced District budget, while advancing test scores and building for our children's future. I will continue to work with parents, teachers and community leaders to ensure BOUSD's readiness for our city’s future growth, while giving our children the tools necessary to excel at all levels of their education.

                                        Joe and Corinne Rollino

Please don't forget to Vote Joe Rollino, 2nd on the ballot - November 4th. Proven Leadership – Proven Results.
