Brea PONY All-Star Bronco 12U Team

The Brea PONY All-Star Bronco 12U Team had a very successful weekend.  After beating Fullerton (9-4), Newport Harbor (10-2), Placentia (8-2), and Anaheim (5-3), they won the title of 1st place in the Placentia PONY Father’s Day All-Star Tournament yesterday!

Through great team effort and excellent coaching by James Freeland, Steve Winn and Mike Manzer, the Brea PONY All-Star Bronco 12U Team played flawless defense as Dillon Sandoval hit a 2 run home run, giving the team the lead, and James Freeland along with Kevin Lavold had key doubles to knock in the runs.  In addition, Kyle Jackson, Cade Winn, Alex Aguirre and James Freeland did a great job pitching.  Everyone on the team contributed at some point over the course of the tournament!

Are we proud? You betcha!
