    Russ Voisan

Our son, brother, cousin, and friend, Russell, was recently diagnosed with Meningococcal Meningitis, the most severe bacterial strain of this disease, and has been in the ICU in a Chicago hospital with several complications and side effects since July 30.

After moving to Chicago from California in January of 2013, Russ had just found a job in graphic design after a full 7 months of searching. Two weeks into his new position, Russ fell violently ill and was admitted to St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago. He was diagnosed with Meningococcal Meningitis and is still in critical condition in the ICU with ongoing complications and side effects affecting his recovery. This disease has taken a severe toll on his body that will require many months of extensive rehab. Russ’ road to recovery will be very expensive with his first need being to come home by medical flight to be treated in a hospital close to his family in Brea, California.

Every contribution will make a difference in Russ’ life! Money raised from this fundraiser will be used strictly for Russ' medical needs and affiliated expenses. Your support will help Russ and his family overcome the physical, emotional, and financial challenges ahead.

We will greatly appreciate any and all support for Russ' recovery. Please help us bring Russell home!

              Thank you.
