Brea Sister City Association in need of host family for sister exchange program

7 years ago by in ( News , Welcome to Brea )

The Brea Sister City Association was founded in 1967 and is a volunteer organization in support of cultural exchange for students and adults through the development of relationships with cities around the world.

For 44 years, Brea has been in a relationship with Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco Mexico, with mostly an adult interaction between the two cities. This year Brea Sister City Association is celebrating a 30 year relationship with Hanno Japan and is also in the process of developing a relationship with Anseong, South Korea.

Currently there is opportunity to become a host family for two gentlemen from Lagos de Moreno during the first week of July.  In welcoming the gentlemen the Brea Sister City Association has planned a full schedule with barbeques, the Brea’s Country Fair, a Barry Manilow concert at Hollywood Bowl, and a day in Little Tokyo.  This would be a great adult party exchange for someone who has pondered what it would be like to host visitors from another culture.  Interested parties, please contact or Ronna Voisan, President of Brea Sister City Association at
