Let it rain, let it rain… the much-needed rain is paving the way to an expected nice cool evening to celebrate Brea’s Tree Lighting Ceremony this Thursday, December 4, at 6:30 p.m.

Every year the front steps of our Civic & Cultural Center are lit up with a cheerful festive atmosphere full of entertainment and live music, plus, Santa is coming to town!

This year’s entertainment includes the Laurel Elementary School Chorus, The Singing Pastors and cast members from the Curtis Theatre’s upcoming performance of Into the Woods. And to capture a special moment, LaNeve Photography will offer photos with Santa for $5 for a 5x7.

As if it couldn’t get better-I have a sweet tooth- hot chocolate and cookies will be served courtesy of our neighborhood Corner Bakery.
