    Stuffed from Thanksgiving? Overwhelmed by Black Friday and its shopping frenzy? We can breathe freely again as there is light at the end of next week! Yes, The City of Brea will light up the Brea Civic & Cultural Center with its annual holiday traditional Tree Lighting Ceremony this coming Thursday, December 5 at 6:30 p.m.

      Lots of festivities are planned for this evening. Live performances include the Fanning 2nd and 3rd Grade Chorus, The Singing Pastors and Brea Gaslight Chorus. Corner Bakery’s hot chocolate and fresh baked cookies will keep visitors warm and content while waiting for the arrival of Santa Claus! A photo op with Santa will be available by LaNeve Photography for only $5 for a 5x7.

        Admission and refreshments are free.
