People: Kelsey Harris, a former Brea Ladycat Basketball player, has transferred schools. While at BOHS Harris started every single game of her high school career and ranks second in school history in three-pointers made.
She has left Iowa State to play at the University of California Davis. The scholar athlete has to sit out a year according to NCAA rules when transfering from one Division One school to another, but will still have two more years of eligibility left.
Harris has excelled in the classroom while at Iowa State, recently earning Big 12 All-Academic First Team honors. She was named an ISU Scholar Athlete earlier this year.
‘Kelsey is an amazing young woman and a dedicated student. I expect Kelsey to be an immediate contributor to our team and a wonderful compliment to the other players we've recruited to UC Davis." said head coach Jennifer Gross.
Nice to have Kelsey back in California and closer to home
