Cranberry Cheddar Fondue

2 3/4 Cup (11 ounces) Shredded Cheddar Cheese

3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 Cup hard cider

2 teaspoons finely chopped shallots

2 teaspoons dry mustard


2 tablespoons chopped sweetened dried cranberries

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 teaspoons crushed walnuts

Toss the cheese with the flour in a bowl. Using a double-boiler or a fondue pot, pour the hard cider into the bowl. Stir in the shallots, mustard and cranberries using a fork. Cook for 30 seconds stirring constantly.
