North Hills Church presents Longest Night Service

8 years ago by in ( Uncategorized )

A message from Stacy Green of North Hills Church: I am writing to inform you of an event to be held next Thursday, Dec. 22nd at North Hills Church in Brea from 7- 8 pm. It is a unique Christmas service called "The Longest Night" service which is of course, held on the longest night of the year, the winter solstice. It is specifically geared for people for whom Christmas will be difficult- those who have experienced loss (death of a loved one, health, job, relationship, and dream). It is a quiet, candlelit service offering comfort and hope to those who are hurting. The reason we have chosen to hold this on the longest night is symbolic- for though December 22nd has the least amount of light and the most darkness of any other day of the year, the next day, Dec. 23rd, the days begin getting longer again.

North Hills Church is located at 3100 E. Birch Street, Brea, CA 92821. For further details, please call: (714) 579-1642.
