Turtle lovers rejoice! Turtle knowledge limited to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, then spend a great educational afternoon with the entire family and attend the Orange County California Turtle & Tortoise Club’s annual event this weekend to learn more about the oldest reptile groups dating back to 220 million years ago!

Tom and Sharon of Brea, who are known as the ‘Turtlenutz,’ are hosting a fun and educational ‘Live Turtle and Tortoise Show’ from 10 a.m.-3p.m. this Sunday, August 18 at the La Habra Community Center featuring the world’s largest land tortoise species: the Galapagos Aldabra, Galapagos, and Sulcata tortoises along with the smallest specie the Egyptian tortoise, Aldabra. In addition to an array of awesome displays and exhibits, there will be raffles, a kids craft corner, plenty of food and icy-cold drinks.

The proceeds from this show will be used to help with the 100's of turtles and tortoises their organization rescues each year, vet care, educational events and their monthly meetings. The club operates strictly on generous donations and the show will greatly help them with their endeavors to continue to aid shelled rescues.

Adults, $3.00, Seniors, $2.00 and Kids up to 12 are FREE. Handicap in wheelchairs are also free along with free parking.
