Fact: Reading helps improve the literacy skills of children, assists with self esteem issues or learning challenges. Brea Library is helping children become fans of reading by providing a fun environment every Wednesday evening for children to freely express themselves by reading their favorite stories to a group of furry critters! The program is called, “Read to the Dogs” and the dogs: Kibble and his friends Shine, Shoop, Madison & Roxy, are eager to meet and hear the stories told by visiting children.
