"The Spirit of Brea: Introducing our BBON centennial celebration countdown logo"

Planning and executing an online interactive (Facebook) birthday party can be exhausting, but well worth it!

To all our fans: we appreciate your participation and support in following BBON!  We also want to thank Ashleymarie Sey Lively of Sey Studios for the AWESOME logo that defines the spirit of Brea, Mike McGready of Album of Life for the time and effort that went into filming and editing our BBON video: “The Making of the Mall,” our local businesses that contributed to Brea’s online 95th birthday celebration, Susan Gaede's BBON  b-day lead story in her "Newsy Suzie" column, BOHS Principal Halpin and staff, Christine and Carly Johnnie our “Kid Reporters,” and finally, the Brea Museum for all the wonderful pictures they posted on BBON in honor of Brea’s  Birthday!

And as the Brea Museum and Heritage Center noted, Brea used to have an annual birthday celebration, the last one being at 60 years.  That was 35 years ago!!  Next year let’s keep up the tradition and invite more of the community and beyond to participate in a grand centennial celebration countdown for one of Orange County’s oldest cities, Beautiful Brea!! Happy 95 th Birthday Brea!
